:( my eggs....day 11 and 17

i candelled my eggs on day 11 for my 7 silkie eggs and only 3 look good....some look dead because theyre not moving at all or they have a big dark spot and 2 were just infertile....oh well at least 3 are still ok

day 17 for my test egg i got from safeway....also, i move my test egg tommorow (1/30/08) to the new lil dome bator!!!i hope it works!!!hummidity and temp are fine in it right now . the temp is about 100 and hummidity is 70-75

wish me luck for tester and silkies

also, should i keep the bad eggs in there? im not 100% positive theyre bad....is it BAD to keep em in there just in case?

ive heard that bad eggs can explode though...is this true?

Generally bad eggs have blood rings which it seems you don't have, it sounds like you have chicks that stopped developing. Personally I'd rather risk an exploding egg than throwing out an egg that might hatch.

At day 17 anything that doesn't have a large mass at one end and an air cell at one in won't hatch so it is basically pointless to keep in the bator but it won't hurt the eggs if you do.
