My Silkie, Pogirl, Silkied OEG, and Narrangansett Turkey eggs from the wonderful LoveMyChicklets arrived this morning!
They were expertly packaged and don't have a mark on them. I just hope UPS wasn't too rough.
My 'bator is stabilizing while these little dudes rest. I read that during the 24hr 'resting' period that you must tilt the eggs 2-4 times per day and that the best way to go about this is to put a book under one end and switch sides for each tilt. How thick should the book be? The one under it now is about 1 1/2 inches thick. Too much?
