my eggs piped!! how long does it usually take for it to hatch??

well this is our first attempt at a hatch and our first just pipped at a bit after 10 this a.m. and was totally out of its shell by 5ish this afternoon. BUT none of the others have made a peep but i think i've been reading here it can take anywhere to 24 hours? maybe someone w/more experience will post. congratulations though and soon will be the

Yes, it can take 24 hours. I've been waiting since 7am and 10 am this morning on mine. It's nerve wracking!
