Their parents are on post #174 its for a project chocolate silkie last one hatched has a pea comb and cheeks hoping its silkie feathered aswell

Since none of these chicks have silkie feathering all will be dispatched in the next few days. Prolly scrapping this project aswell. Kinda just over chickens at this point.

Actually two have silkied feathering the rest I gave away free as they where smooth feathering. Though one of the silkied has a single comb the other has no beard! Urg!! Heres a pic from yesterday of all of them before giving away the four.

Heres the older silkies that my broody hatched July 8th...Are these things really almost 10 weeks lol the two banded ones I banded them at hatch because they had the best beards/cheeks and I didnt wanna mix them up with the rest.

pretty sure out of the 5 the one banded is the only pullet lol judging by size of it compared to the rest

Last hatch for awhile 9/12 silkies.ignore the container...i needed something to carry them out in lol

Out of the 9 chicks 5 are silkied feathered gave away the 4 smooth ones also my broody hatched 2/4 ducklings so far
