Culled my bc1 hen as she was hatched april and never started laying so wasnt gonna waste anymore feed on that but she had a ton of fat inside her and allot of dormant eggs even her intestines looked to fatty. someone in this pen laid a lash egg and honesty thought it was her but i dont see anything off besides to much fat

Does that look normal? At first I thought she had acites because her abdoman was jiggly bit turns out it was all fat I do have a video if someone wants me yo post it.

Ok so sold all the hens I wanted to this year which was the 2 blrw/mottled ones the bad laced ones(still holding onto the good laced one) Beatopian is sold and sold the two buff silkie hens the males gonna be processed as they didnt want the male sold the blue and partridge silkie hens aswell. Sold all but the two buff silkies for $25 each buffs where $20 each sold chicks last 2 weeks for 7/$35 and then 6/$30

Pair of my Laced/Mottles(Gonna sell the hen eventually and process the rooster)
Pair of Black silkies
1 buff silkie rooster(gonna process him as I don't need him)
This years chicks Im keeping for now
2 chocolate wyandottes(Gonna process them at 5-8 weeks as I dont need two more males
3 Laced/mottles(Gonna process the single combed one) (Parents pics then chicks)

2 Chocolate Easter eggers

2 black silkies(gonna process the one with leakage)

So thats where I am at right now
Future plans is to breed chocolate silkie to black silkie rooster keep cho split male breed him to the black hen to get chocolate silkies
Also gonna breed my chocolate easter eggers to mr cheeks and keep split male to make a more better looking cho easter egger.
Then that ch split male will be bred to my black beatopians to get female chocolates easter eggers. And I have no plans for the laced/ mottled unless they keep their mottling otherwise Ill just process those and be done with that. So thats ot for now

Bought myself a new bator...was time to retire one of my 2011 ones lol also got a new turner...I think my quail racks are made for these newer ones as it did not fit in my old turner when I bought them like 6 years ago lol

Well this one must of laid the lash egg as found her dead in the coop today. I wonder what causes that to even start she was my oldest hen

Its an infection in the egg laying track where they lay a lash egg.. basically an egg shaped infection
