got my quails out of my flight cages and into their outside cages dont have to worry about hawks here. never had a a hawk here before

So people that rented my old house left allota garbage but also a blue metal barrel.... I was curious to know what was in it...that was my first mistake..... Seen it seeping smelly brown crap looking stuff out of the hole. So I used a rake to pry open it and I usually have a stomach of Iron but the smell make me have to back up because I nearly vomited lol. Found deer carcasses in it.... Like why! Why not just put them to nature why hid it in a barrel unless it was illegally done. Found three rib racks two skulls and a few legs....im gonna try and preserve the skulls

Got my old man some babies to keep him company… my goodness the prices these days! When I bought my geese in 2011 it cost $60 all together now it’s literally doubled! They came April 22!

Then I got something I wanted for years but kept putting it off!

A plucker! Got a new cone and new turkey fryer to

no idea what’s the chain hanging off it is for lol gonna have quite a few cockerels to process soon

Hatched a few quail chicks and one of those has scissor beak! Can feed cause that? Thats the only difference

Well Ellie’s my chocolate ee, my blue band that has sour crop as a chick a green band and my chocolate silkie are all dead. Starting to be done with this. If it’s not one useless animals killing them it’s another. I already hate this planet as is.

Well I caught two coons and 4 possums since this happened. Nothing since. Also tore down the coop that got attacked.
This was the coop I took down I had another coop next to it door wasn’t flushed and was using just junk fencing because I didn’t have my other pens they were and still are left behind so I just ordered more 2x3s. my old pens I had to crouch to get in and I was over that so new pens are my height so no more crouching

Replacement coop now looks like the coop that was next to it those nest boxes on top was left here… I hate em they suck so bad lol that’s why they are there lol

Still gotta cut out the door for them to get out

The pens are 5ft high give or take gotta zip tie the mesh together because rolls only come 4ft
