My "farm" house

Sorry to blow your thread up, but...
If you have small kids, you may want to consider a couple of silkies for them. Silkies are really small, and more like pets then chickens. Mine would see me walk across the yard, and chase me down. If I sat on the ground they would run up to me just to see if I had a treat. If I didn't, they would just hang out and scratch right beside me.
I have a 2.5 year old daughter, and the silkie is the only thing she isn't scared of.
You will not believe me. But the point-of-lay chickens are doing exactly the same. They were for sure helping us plant all the new fruit trees :)

Now I enjoy staying home relaxing with my feeless chickens. Hey, maybe I might name one of my chickens "Nofie"

Hi everyone, my parents have had chickens when I was little. When I bought my own place; I decided I have to give the same experience to my children. My own eggs that I know where it comes from adds to the benefit.

(1) Been having chickens now for around 5 years.
