My favorite Bantam hen - what is she?

Sad news to report - my husband found this pretty little hen dead in the coop yesterday morning. She was fine and very active the evening before. We do not know how old she was and it could have just her time to go. I appreciate all the info you all shared with me. Now, at least I know what her heritage was and I can try to find me another couple like her.

Oh no! So sad. She was cute as a button. Good luck finding more like her with the sane great peronailty. Each chicken adds their unique character to the flock, don't they? Those sweet little broodys are so nice.

I just lost my bossy top hen (and some of her friends) and the flock is TOTALLY different without her.
