My favorite hen is a rooster. Buff Orpington question

5 week old Buff Orpington Rooster to be. Are they typically loud crowers, and are they aggressively territorial ? I want him to stay.

Depends on the individual rooster, but Buff Orpingtons generally have a reputation for nice temperaments. Larger roosters generally crow louder than smaller ones, but I don't know how loud is too loud for your purpose.

I would suggest giving him a try, and see how it goes--plenty of nice roosters do exist, and also plenty of ones that cause trouble. We usually hear more about the troublesome ones, because that's when people ask for advice

My Buff Orpington rooster had a deeper, less shrill & less annoying crow than any out of Leghorn, Sultan, or the Easter Egg rooster who was supposed to be a hen. I kept the nicest one, he was very mellow. I wanted a rooster, so I ordered st. run and kept the best one.
