any game bird starter is good for ducks...really just look for any chicken starter that says it has yeasts added for digestibility, and you can see if it has a niacin supplement in it...Dumor has one chick starter that is good for ducks, it has a picture of a chick and duckling on it. They have another that just has a picture of a chick and says it is for chukar pheasants and chicks...I would think that 18% is too low protein anyway...
Anyway Game Bird starter or flock raiser are going to be your best bets...you can also add brewers yeast to any chick food and it will get you through...Do not use the layer pellets for chicks or ducklings.
Most places don't sell anything labeled duck food. You just have to read the labels and see what you come up with...
