So, I'm hatching a bunch of chicks already and go in to my feed store to grab some more feed, etc... and lo and behold, they have BANTAMS!
Looked like some kind of bantam assortment -- I could identify cochins, silkies, japs, among others.
I ended up grabbing 4. A black silkie, a white silkie, a cochin(I think. I'll post pictures later to get some ideas on this one) and a mystery little black and white chick (Also will post pictures to get some feedback as to what she might be). They're ridiculously cute and fitting right in with the batch I already have hatching.
Just wanted to brag a little
Edited to add: They have poo on their toes! Gross I know, but warm water didn't seem to phase it and I'm nervous about getting them too wet. Still, I keep my chicks meticulously clean and it makes me nervous! Ideas?
