What do I do? I really don’t want to lose her because she is my only female duck and the cutest sweetie ever. It isn’t her nose, it’s by her nose but behind it and it’s horrible.

Really not much to do. But, I'd rinse it and add some vetrycin spray or warm saline to it. You don't want to cover anything up due to it being beside her nostril area. Do you know what happened? Fixing whatever caused it will prevent it from happening again.

I have no clue what happened. I had home out there to put them to bed and look at her beak and see a hole. She should be alright, right? It will heal?

I have bacitracin, Silva sulfadiazine, betadine, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, and I might have vetrycin.

That is the weirdest looking nose. Can you rinse it out and take a closer picture? I can't guarantee it will grow back perfect but it should smooth/heal. I would try and help her flush her nostrils by gently squirting saline in there to make sure it stays clear. Ducks need to be able to clear their nasal cavity. Poor love got hurt. Is it only the one side or both? If it's one side she could have snagged it somewhere on something if it goes through then it's a whole different issue.

It’s only on one side. It looks like a nail or something like that went through it. I don’t have saline on me but I have a order into Walmart for curbside tomorrow so I will add saline to the order. It freaked me out

It will heal, but there might always be a dent. I would look around for anything that could poke a hole like that. When they get scared, even something small that we overlook daily can cause an injury.

She should be fine may not heal perfectly like her original beak but it'll heal and you wouldn't even know she had an injury. I have a pekin called Pinky that scraped her beak free ranging trying to burrow her beak under a fence digging for worms, I just kept rinsing and watching it. I boosted all of my waters with apple cider vinegar and some herbs (they enjoy their oregano in their water) I'll also splash in cinnamon sometimes. They are a tad spoilt.

You can make a saline rinse. 1tsp of salt to a cup of water. You would want to boil the water, but only use it when you can touch it with the back part of your hand - you want warm or cool. The betadine would be ok as well, but dilute it before using it.
