My female duck has a huge hole in her beak.

She should be fine may not heal perfectly like her original beak but it'll heal and you wouldn't even know she had an injury. I have a pekin called Pinky that scraped her beak free ranging trying to burrow her beak under a fence digging for worms, I just kept rinsing and watching it. I boosted all of my waters with apple cider vinegar and some herbs (they enjoy their oregano in their water) I'll also splash in cinnamon sometimes. They are a tad spoilt.
I am kinda hesitant about taking her to the vet because my chicken had gotten impacted then sour crop and I had taken her to two vets plus talked to a third, she died less than three weeks ago from sour crop because by the time they gave her the medication I asked for it was too late. My hen, less than two weeks ago, had gotten impacted with dirt and I treated her at home. She is back in the flock and hasn’t had a crop problem since and she had pooped dirt and rocks for almost a whole week so I kinda thinks it’s better to treat them at home sometimes then rush them to a vet that will cost you a lot if you can take care of them at home.

I don't think you'd have to take her to the vet unless she was having issues breathing or eating.
