My new Figurita has laid four eggs in five days.
Is that too many for this little breed?? I understand that they are one of the smallest breeds.
I'm have a nice pair of lagre French Maldaines and some Homers/Old English that only sat one/two eggs at a time.
They are on only a seed blend, no layer stuff.

If the pair layed 4 eggs then you have 2 hens paired and they each layed 2 eggs. Every breed of pigeon will only lay 2 eggs at a time. Hope this helps.

Those are such adorable little pigeons! I don't think i've seen them before. Where did you get your two from?

I purchased them at the Raz Exotic Game auction and bird sale in Harper TX that happens every third Saturday of the month. You never know what you will see every month there. One guy brought a kangaroo in one time.

I'm going to see if I can get a male or two next time.
