When I was planning a trip to Arkansas in August to visit my sister the end of september I happened to look on Craigslist and there was an add for a Silver Pea Hen with these pictures:
They were going to hold her for me & when I went to pick her up they also had this male paired up with her, for sale so I got them both:
So now I just noticed in looking at my photos, because I saved the pics that were on Craigslist, that they were not of the hen I bought. If any one knows the photos were of their hen, Is that an opal hen in your pics?
I dont have the sellers number or email address anymore and I can't tell if she is an opal SP or a SP. Anyone with any clues whether the last pic hen is opal? She does have very very faint light grey on the front of her neck/breast.
The male was thin & still looks kinda rough but has been wormed twice since I got him home. The hen seemed to be in better shape.
Still I am happy-thrilled with the find! Just dont know if I need to find an opal hen for this guy!
Any suggestions for getting this male in better condition?
