My first 5 chickens

Well they aren´t really mine since i hatched them for someone else but if i am lucky i get to keep 2.

They are supposed to be åsbos.

Hmm... never heard of them!

I absolutely love the one with the splotches on his head and around his eye! They are so cute!

Åsbos are one of the swedish old breeds.
I like the one with black beak and legs the most.

But only the brown chicken will be brown as adult i think. And alot baby chickens look the same so i guess it´s easier to see once they are grown up.
Åsbos and leghorns maybe look alike each other

The one with most yellow died today. But it seemed strange and a bit weak from the start and then got worse and worse.

Congratulations on your hatch. So sorry to hear one of your chicks didn't make it. I lost one after 3 days. It was hard. It's amazing how fast we can bond to them.
