My first attempt at building a bator

Update to my bator.

1. If you use plexiglass on your bator get a nice thick peice mine is warping like you wouldnt beleive I have rocks on it holding it down.

2. I have had eggs in my bator for five days now, when I was turning them last night just before I went to bed one fell out of my hand as I was putting it down, only about a inch, so I thought I felt a hair line crack so I candled it, sure enough there it was it stuck out like a big thumb. I decided to take that egg out and crack it open and see what was in there, and here is what I saw.

For day 5, if it was alive, I would expect more blood than I see in that pic. But it does look like there was a baby in there! Roosters doing their jobs. Of cousre, if it was moving, it was alive. You should have been able to see the heart beating if it was alive.
