So I got the eggs today in the post from the Breeder none are damaged in any way Just candled them upright from the pointy end, and they are so fresh, there is no air cell to see. What do I do now?
Let them sit how long now? I was not expecting this, I read up on everything about funky air cells. Do they get the funky air cells once they start to develop?

Hi there. The funky air cells can show up later or show immediately it just depends. Let them sit pointy end down 24 hours to settle and then incubate. It's likely the eggs are super fresh so the air cell is tiny right now.

Here are a few links on hatching shipped eggs:

Funky air cells would be present now. Sometimes where will not be in the right spot or they will move. Just sit your eggs upright pointed side down. I prefer to hatch shipped eggs upright and not laying on their side because laying them on their side I have noticed can make the air cells even worse.

Good Luck with everything and please join the August Hatch-a-Long

Great, I'll do that. I was planning to incubate them upright an not turn them to begin with, well at least until I can see what shape they are in. Is that ok?
Most people leave them to sit for 24 hours without incubating and check the air cells. They need to be turned after that. You can limit the number of times you do it to 3 or so at first. My turner does 5 in 24 hours and my eggs haven't been any worse off with that. I like vertical incubation until lockdown, it seems gentler and the air cells aren't so bad
