My first auction eggs should be in today!!

Should I have arranged to have the PO call me when my eggs arrive at the local branch? Mine haven't shipped yet, is it normal to pick them up at the post office instead of waiting for your mail carrier?

We have a lot of bumpy gravel roads here, so I figure picking them up at the PO keeps them from being thrown around even more.

silkies do like a little less humidity durring incubation. I usually keep mine between 35 and 45% for the first 18 days.

I've my bator going since Wed and humidity is standing at 43%. My main worry is how high to go during lockdown...

Well I asked our neighborhood mail carrier today what to expect when I receive eggs. They will call me when they reach the mail facility, as early as 5:30 am. So I can go pick them up! Yay! Finished the incubator today, took a couple hours. It's amazing how I had everything I needed but a thermometer in my garage, and still could have probably just used a make shift sticky one from the kids first aid kits lol....
