My first baby chicks :)

Got two fluffy babies from our sitting hen last night, and have two that are half way out already....that leaves only one egg

got the four in the brooder now, will let them all get fuzzy before I take pics...the hen that was sitting is a crossbeak, she always kept the weight on ok but I see it was a mistake to let her set these eggs. I tried to break her up for two weeks before I finally caved in and gave her eggs, so she has been sitting for 5 weeks

. I am new to all this but I feel bad anyway. There is one egg left under her, I am getting the incubator to the right temp, and this afternoon I am gonna take that egg (unlikely to hatch) adn put it in the bator, and put her in her own pen, put her on some chick feed see if I can get a little weight on her....any advice on best way to get weight on a hen thats been setting?
