My first blue egg!

My beautiful white Ameraucana has laid me her first egg at 20 weeks, and it's a beautiful blue and very small. I'm really proud of her! How ridiculous of me! Haha!

I show pics of my chickens and their eggs to my coworkers all the time. If I have to look at pics of their vacation and kids, it's only fair. That's a lovely blue, congrats.

Congrats! There's no better feeling than getting that first egg but to get your first blue one is eggstra special!

It's funny isn't it, it's still just an egg, but for some reason they do feel a little bit more special being blue! I love it!

How exciting! I just received 2 chicks of the Ameraucana persuasion, hoping to add some pastels to my egg carton too. I know you are proud. I sometimes show pictures of my chickens before I do my grandkids!
