My small hen started laying about three weeks ago and this is only her second batch of eggs that she laid. A few days ago I noticed her sitting in the nesting place longer than usual. Two days ago she slept on her nest so now I'm 100% sure that she's trying to incubate! The eggs are probably fertile since I saw the roo mating with her a few days earlier.
I really hope that she stays on those eggs! Oh and she's sitting on 10 eggs!
