So I came home today and when I went to get eggs I only had 2 in one of my nesting boxes then I noticed a hen in the other one when I went to grab she screamed so loud, this is my first and her first day on eggs I'm thinking of moving her out of the coop since she shares it with about 40 other chickens when would be the best time to move her or should I give her a few days to see if she will sit them out, I have a cochin bantam pen with just 2 in there a hen and a rooster should I move her in there?

Put a couple golf balls or fake eggs under her for a few days to make sure she is really broody. If she sits tight then you could move her. Moving broodies will sometimes break them, so wait until she is settled before giving her eggs to set.

So I now have my very first broody she is living in my utility room sitting on 12 eggs and looks as happy as she can be
