Would you be sweet enough to share your plans on how you made it? I've gotta show this to my dad!!

Thanks for all the kind words, I'll post picture of the interior and access doors later this afternoon and I'll put together a plan and parts list.

My wife wants me to build a whole western town of chicken tractors, the next one will be shaped as a saloon, then Jail and then a Hotel. They will all be based on the same idea with the same run.

Afterall I have 36 pullets that need roofs over thier heads, right now they are six weeks old and all in this tractor. I hope to have the next tractor done in 2 weeks, I'll keep you all posted!

Here are the pictures and plans you requested.

Both lower roof lift to give access for cleaning and egg reomoval

Run roof detail, notches cut at 45 degrees the 2 1/2" screw is driven about a third of the way in at 45 degrees and then the pfc is placed oveer that. Thats what hold it in place until the roof is secured.

and finally, the plan.

the plan is correct except I went for a steeper slope on the lower coop roofs. I also forgot to list in the plan that you will need 3-10'x3/4' PVC cut down to 5 pieces 52" long for the roof ribs. I cut the gradually shorter then 52" to give me a slight slope down away from the coop section.

Cheryl thanks for the nice compliment, I am thinking about making and selling them but I wouldn't know what to charge. these cost about $200 to build.
let me know if you have any more questions.

Just beautiful! Make sure you show us the finished 'township' when you're done. It's so imaginative! My kids would love having something like that in the backyard. Now all you need are some cowboys
