Thank you for these infos!...we'll be looking into it in a bit.....In the mean time, shall we go ahead and discard this first batch? or wait until something happens with the eggs?
But here's how we got the mother hen It was from our neighbor. He threw her over the fence because she was eating her eggs. He was raising them just for fresh eggs in the morning. So chicken roam around our front yard for a day or two then made her way to the backyard. We fed her and she seems very friendly, coming right up to you even run to you if you open the sliding door!...Then she found a shrub and made herself at home. This was last month around this time, but we never bother to check if there were eggs until yesterday. And by golly we've got 11!!...
