My first chickens, finally!

I am finally getting chickens! Two golden laced Cochins to start. The coop comes in two days so as soon as its assembled I get to pick up my girls! I can't wait!!!

Congratulations. It is a really exciting time. I got my first ones almost a year ago and love the hobby. I have five and a half at the moment (the one and a half are in my profile picture

but I hope to be introducing more in a few months depending how things go with the incubators. What sort are you going to get? How many?

I am getting two golden laced cochins to start. I may grow it over time but it's a start. I am so excited! The coop comes tomorrow!!

I remember waiting for mine to come in the mail from My Pet Chicken. I was getting 10 assorted bantams. I was so freaking excited I could barely take it. 3 years later, and it's just as exciting when I get a new one.
