The strange thing is, they had pine shavings where they were before. We brought them home this afternoon, so they are probably just nervous about being in a strange place.

Now I have it figured out. They spilled thier food and they were trying to eat the food out of the pine shavings.

Congrats. Soon you should learn Chicken Math. 2 will turn into 8 in a matter of weeks, and so on. Mine LOVE tomatos any time (chopped in tiny bits). And oatmeal in the morning. It goes flying everywhere so they get it outside. Post a pic of the new ones!

Mine try to eat the bread ties (not the twist ties, but the other things..).. Silly chickens..
