My first chickens

    We just started our backyard flock this past weekend. Here are the 3 girls in their new coop checking things out.

    My 3 daughters each named 1. We have.... Holly- the Jersey Giant, Jinger- Ameraucana, and Rosie - Gold Commet

    They're all about the same age, born in May, so we're expecting eggs any day now. Very excited.

    your set up reminds me of the farm I frequented as a small child, maybe one of my only clearer memories from my childhood!! ([​IMG]) there always used to be eggs among the wood shavings which we'd try to spot hope you start to see eggs from yours soon too!
