My first chicks!! Woot woot!

Well after some wait my chicks arrived today!

There are 6 RIR and 6 BR and there is an extra one in there that looks like the rest of the RIR's.
I have to admit I did not think day olds were that spunky, they practically popped out of the box when I opened it.
I'm happy they all learned to drink and eat very quickly and it seems like they never finish eating and drinking!
I wasn't expecting so much activity so soon, they run jump and looks like there flapping there little wings lol.
Well wish me luck, i'm a little nervous but sooo happy!

Okay I have to finally ask. What is this "Woot Woot" thing? What is it supposed to mean? Being from Calif. We have never encountered people saying woot woot.

It sounds like you've ended up with some nice and healthy chicks! It's good when they are spunky and active. That means that they are healthy. Congratulations on your new babies! They are adorable.
