I am happier than a bird with a french fry today.
I got my first chickens this morning, though not all I wanted. I now am the proud mama of 6 RIR, 4 New Hampshire Reds and 2 Silver Laced Wynadottes (spelling?) I really want some Red Star chicks to go with the rest but not one store I went to had any in stock and to top it off at Orschlens today it was chick day. It was from 2-3pm and guess what time I got there? Yep 3:15 there weren't but a few chicks left and none were what I wanted. It looked as if a tornado had went through the chicken area.
So anyway I figure you all want pics so here they are. Oh and don't ask me which are the RIR and which are the NHR because they look the same to me.

UPDATE: I just ordered the rest of the chicks I wanted to get!
I ordered five Red Star chicks, and five EE's. YAY I am so happy they are supposed to ship monday and be here tues. or wed.
I ordered them from Mypetchicken.com Has anyone had any experience with them before? How was the service?
