I did some predator proofing on the coop. Let me know what you think.

Here are some of the Questions I have;
- Do you need windows?
- How many nesting boxes per hen?
- How many perches (not the length)
- Are there any cautions I should be aware of with a concrete floor?
Chicken wire is for keeping chickens in, it will not hold up to a dog or a raccoon or any other creature determined to get a chicken dinner. 1/2 inch Hardware cloth over the wire, stapled then screw down trim boards over that. You have a lot left to do.

I completely covered the coop with 1/2" 19 ga. HW cloth and did an anti dig protection.

I converted a shed that had concrete floors so the concrete is only within the coop the run is dirt. I'm also trying the deep litter method that way they could have some cushion on their feet and I enjoy less work .Wow, Sam and ELLA! You've made a lot of progress! It's looking great!
Sorry if I missed this part, but where do you have concrete flooring? I'm curious bc I'm contemplating the location of my 1st build - covered concrete patio is an option I've considered.
