First off..... I wanted to thank everyone for all the help,
suggestions and feedback. This forum has been great with many
friendly and knowledgeable people willing to share..... and
I surely appreciated the help in preparing my coop.

Monday I'm getting 5 Barred Rocks. I've never
had chickens before... but preparing for their arrival has been fun.

Not totally done (still have to shingle the roof of the run).... but thought
I'd share some pix.
Any feedback is welcome.
Thanks

Wow - congrats to you for actually getting your coop done before you got your chickens! More than a few of us have not been right on schedule that way.

The coop looks great - nice job!

That's beautiful!!! Nice job....and it looks extremely secure...I doubt anything is getting into that run....did you bury hardware cloth around the run?

nice job! I am going with a SUPER SIMPLE first coop/run until i get the hang of it and hope to build something amazing like yours next spring!

That looks great, I love the siding shingles! And what is all that stuff in the corner of your run, branches and stuff - a chicken jungle gym?
