My First Coop-DONE!

someone had asked if I buried the hardware cloth.
I used 1/2 X 1/2" hardware cloth screwed with fender
washers to the framework around the outside of the run and buried about
12 inches and then bent outward about 4 inches. I threw some
rocks in and around the bottom of the trench. Also buried 1 x 3 inch
wire mesh under the entire dirt floor of the run (about 5 inches under the
dirt).

I put some logs, branches and an old stump in the run.
Again... this is my first time with chickens and building a coop/run....
so I hope the girls like it and feel homey here.

Looks great! I am building my first coop and run right now too. I will post pictures soon. We have 2 buff orpington chicks so far. We will be getting 2 barred rock chicks tomorrow also, might even see you there!
