Good start.
Like your self I started with a hutch I built out of a box. A box that stove appliances come in makes a great hutch when laid on its side and the front covered with 1" hardware cloth. Quickly had to build the coop and run. Let me know your progress. I enjoy your build as much as my own.

This is my second visit to view your coop. NICE JOB! I see a lot of decorating potential. You could add some fancy gingerbread trim for a Victorian look. A few columns and you could have a Federal design.

Your very good at building. Did the lumber cost a lot? Up here it's kind of high. Not sure why.
