It started out being a tractor house, but with my "Tim Allen" Bigger, More Power GGrrrrrrrr syndrome, the darn thing got out of hand, it's now a tractor & trailer....BIG RIG....The property I own in the north Georgia Mountains doesn't have much flat area....any flat area is used for parking and potential home site....even my septic line is on that slope,,,,you know XXXX runs down hill, my daddy always said buy land above the others. Anyway I have a small John Deere 4x4 tractor that helped me inch the house to it's final resting place without sliding it over the cliff. I used landscape timbers and slide the house onto them, I'm going to use split rock for my corners so it won't end up over the cliff.
One more view...I have more to do before it is finished however I'm having major back surgery on 3/3 so I'm trying to make it livable before then. I will add more pic's.
Happy Hatch'en Folks
That's a nice looking coop, I love that tin roof! I put a metal roof on top of our chicken tractor that was left over from the top of our house. Hope you get to feeling beter from the back surgery.
