Just wanted to share a few pics of my coop/run. I poured over and over pics of coops here, drew off of my Dad's coop/run, and mixed in some ideas of my own to come up with my creation. After all of that, you'd think it'd be spectacular, but it's pretty plain/simple!

I believe it will serve the purpose though.

I didn't really realize that the ramp was so badly off-center until I looked at this pic.

I was lining it up with the inside ramp that leads up to the nesting boxes - I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot, but.....

The coop is 4'x8'. The run is 12'x12'x6'. The wire on the run is buried 1' deep. I'm toying with the idea of running railroad ties around the perimeter as well. We'll see.

Why that is such a neat, tidy little coop and run! And what a pretty setting! I'M LOVEIN' IT! Now, meet me at my place in the backyard around 2:00 tomorrow....I need some help with my coop!

Very Cute! How many chickens do you have for it? What kind........ I'm tying to get some ideas for a 2nd coop we are going to build and I want something smaller than our 1st coop.

Chicmom, you wouldn't want me to help - I'm thorough, but SLOW! LOL!

I forgot to add up above; I'll have 5 moving in as soon as they're big enough to not squeeze through the 2x4 wire. I have 2 EEs, 2 BR's and 1 Buff Orpington.

You chose some great chickens for your new coop. Excellent run and coop. They should be very safe and happy in there!
