Could staple it on then cover with screwed on trim boards.

Yeah that sound like a plan i am going to stable with my staple gun then cover the posts with trim and screws.

Almost done. Need to put the rest of the coop apren and a window then chickens can move in. I closed off the nesting box so that they done just poop in it for now.

I used a pneumatic stapler with 1 1/4" staples. Old Brer Coon can't get these out, heck I couldn't get them out when I messed up, I had to cut them out. I then covered joints with boards.

yesterday as I was finishing the Apron on the run side the hawk hit my leg and landed on the tree.

This is the bastard that got one of my comets when my roof was not done for the run.

Suggest you add Hardware Cloth to bottom half to keep grubby little raccoons from reaching in and grabbing chickens.
