My First Coop

yes your coop n run are well done
but your coop is to small for 8 LF you have 30 sq ft you need 4 sq ft per bird in a coop not counting the water and feed at least your nest boxes are hang out.
you would need to cover up that window with hardware wire and put a lock on the nest box do to predator
 
The run isn't as mobile as the coop. If I had to move it, it would be a major task, but it could be done. I installed the wheels because I was uncertain of the coop's location as I was building it. If the neighbors don't complain about the location, it will stay right where it is. I am also concerned about the weight of the snow.

All doors, including the nest box, are padlocked. The window has vinyl coated fencing covering the screen section of the window. When building the coop, I read that the chickens needed a minimum of 2 sq. ft. of indoor shelter per bird (with 3 to 4 feet being better).
