My first crack at raising chickens

Thanks for the compliment, I thought of calling it the White Rock Hyatt, any suggestions on a good name for the coop? I'm not done with the coop yet, but these chickens are gonna be so spoiled!

welcome to BYC and the wonderful world of chickens...your coop is fantastic.

I have 7 girls and 5 of laying age and we were amazed at our first egg,

then amazed when I found two eggs in the same box,

then amazed at my first green/blue egg,

then amazed when I found 5 eggs one day when I got home from work....

I LOVE the girls and the always make me laugh.

oh yeah...I had to turn off their light from coming on in the mornings as we were getting 3-5 eggs each day and I had way too many. It won't be long...
