I don't have much time to post here, but I am feeling quite sad today, I have a flock of buff orps and culled my roos down to two roosters and six hens. They are about 7 months old. I found Mr. Bojangles dead today in the coop. he and Zz top my other roo seemed to have worked things out and there was no signs of pecking or injury. Feeling blue, my dh buried him for me. No predators got in, no odd behavior, I handle my roos everyday they are very friendly and never were aggressive to me.
