I've checked in on them 3 times today. First they were running from food to water and back and forth and back and forth being little piggy ducks. The other 2 times. Snoozing away!

DH wants to duckcam the girls so we can watch them build their nest during the night and move stuff around in their house to make it just right.

In your photo - the one at the bottom with its head down apears to have a crest. It might just be the angle or the light, but it looks like it in that photo and when watching the live feed, I could see that one again. Very cute indeed, all of them.

Quacking, when we first saw it we thought it was just a patch of whitish feathers. We called her baldy. A few hours later it was much more pronounced. (Can they really grow that fast?) Now I'm pretty sure its a crest too.
I'm also thinking they've nearly doubled in size. (Ok maybe not quite but still.) Its amazing.

Yesterday, I watched and one duckling was jumping around the top of the water bowl like he wanted to splash and play in it.

I'm waiting eagerly for the day they're old enough to go for a swim.

They're already trying to spread oil into their feathers from imaginary oil glands.

Put them in for a swim, its not going to hurt them in 2 inches of water for a few minutes. The 1st time they might be scared, but they wont the next time you put them in
