I got my first egg of the year today it was green in color and I dropped it but I’m so happy that I got my first egg of 2019
I believe my white leghorn laid it

Congratulations! What a shame you dropped it, though. :/
(For the record, your White Leghorn will lay white eggs...not green, lol. You probably have an Easter Egger.)

yes I’m pretty sure my white leghorn layed it maybe it’s the food that turned them green ? I feed them scraps

Now that would be something wouldn’t it. Feed them beets get red eggs. Feed them blueberry’s get blue eggs. Feed them carrots get orange eggs. Feed will affect the the color of poop sometimes. Beets can make it look like they are passing blood YIKES! But to affect the shell gland and the egg...dunno I just didn’t think that’s possible.
