my first egg!

I just got my first egg! It was from my buff orpington hen and it was a light cream color to a bage. Is this a normal color for a buff or should it be dArker?

A cream colored egg is quite normal.

I just got mine a few days ago. I am not sure who it came from but it was in some leaves near one of my woodpiles. My chickens are 22 weeks old.
