Congratulations! Isn't it grand? My first layer was a 21 week old Buff Orp too. She has turned into my most reliable layer and her eggs are perfect! I still haven't gotten over the wonder and joy of collecting eggs from the nest boxes. It's just so magical!
 
Congratulations on your first egg. We took and blew ours out and now it sits above our computer on the desk. Just wait, there will be more. We are up to an average of 16 a day now and the average goes higher each week.
