Cyprus
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, and I have just finished constructing my first coop! Constructed from bits of old wood from my garden in Cyprus. The only real cost was the chicken wire, and the four chickens inside it! Building on the terraces made it a little tricky. I'd love to hear people's thoughts...

Are we talking "Cyprus" in the Aegean Sea near Greece or a city called Cyprus here in the U.S.A.?

I like your coop set-up and was trying to factor in what the weather would be like in your area. Also, what kind of predators do you get there?

Nice job, and welcome!

I am on the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. The climate is semi-arid with long hot summers and mild winters. Predators include; foxes (see picture below), rats, snakes and birds of prey.
Here is a picture of a fox... I think it might be a desert fox, stalking out my chooks!

Thanks for the info -- that's very interesting!

What breeds of chickens are you raising in that coop?

I have no idea what breed they are! Here are a couple of pics though....
