My duck just layed a "toot egg" yesterday. Teeny Tiny little thing. I went ahead and put it in the bator.. Why not. It does have a yolk. Not expecting much, but who knows, maybe I'll start a new breed of miniature mallards!

The girls are almost 12 months old now and have been laying for a while now, giving me eggs around 65 - 68 grams usually. That little one weighed in at 38 grams.

It's strange though, after pretty much perfect eggs right from their very first day of laying, this week has seen them lay that small one, one shell-less egg, and one soft-shelled egg. Then today we're back to the usual three perfect ones again.

I got those egg-cups from a junk/discount shop - $2 for the set.
