My humidity was getting too high (98%!!) and didn't want to drown my goslings and ducklings so I opened the incubator to take out the sponge I had in there. I figured while I had it opened, I would quickly run the flashlight over air cell on the egg. (I left it lying down, didn't pick it up.) I saw a little beak!! It's internally pipped! YAY!!

I took the plugs out of the incubator to release some of the humidity and its down to 82%.

I'm so excited! This is my first gosling! And its from Patty's egg! Now I have to keep myself busy so I don't have my nose against the incubator window! LOL

Congrats!!

I am keeping my humidity at about 50 to 55. I am at day 7 tomorrow ... is that about right. I am really sweating over these. Turning them 3 times a day. So, anything else I need to know??? is about 82% right for the lockdown.?

Well one of the Pekins have hatched. The goosie egg is still hanging in there. No external pips that I can see but it could have pipped on the opposite side and then I wouldn't be able to see it.

I need to keep myself busy.

Smudge prints?? Ummm whatcha talking about?? LOL
