Her eye's fine. I just think it was from hatching. Just the one eye was a bit gooped up. I cleaned it and its fine now.

Ummm do you really want to know her name?? LOL

I've been calling her Patty! LOL

The other egg is pipped and peeping so either later tonight or tomorrow morning we'll have another baby!!! YAY!!!!!

Okay so the other egg hasn't hatched yet but its peeping up a storm. "Lil Patty" has learned to bite my lip and tug....can you say OUCH?!?!

I went to bed at 9pm and hubby woke me up at midnight and told me that he had "Lil Patty" out and was playing with her for over an hour. Yup, she's not spoiled or anything. LOL

Oh and she finally pooped on me. Thank you very much darling. LOL

The second little one made his arrival with help from me. His head was tucked under his leg and it was almost like the leg was wrapped around his little neck. He was pipped for 2 days and still only had a small hole in the egg. I opened the incubator and looked through the hole and saw the dilemma immediately. He couldn't turn around to zip. No way, no how. He was thoroughly stuck. I sat there debating if I should help him or not. After about an hour, I decided to help. His peeping was muffled because of the way he was stuck.

As I peeled away the shell and membrane there was no blood at all. The yolk was completely absorbed, there was no stickiness. His body was just positioned wrong and he would have never gotten out of the egg the way he was. I'm sure I did the right thing.

As soon as he was out of that egg, I knew he was okay because he started peeping like mad!! LOUDLY!! I closed the incubator, let him recuperate and a few hours later he was climbing all over the other eggs and wanting out!

Here's a pic of him and his sister. She's being a bit of a bully. She does NOT want to share mama! He's in the front.

And here's him by himself.

Aww.. they are so cute. I am still waiting on mine to hatch so your pics are so nice to see.

I have one that's due to hatch tomorrow but it stopped wiggling so I'm not sure if the bird is still alive. Since you are obviously successful in this... and I am worried sick, I'd like to ask you if your eggs, wiggled then stopped and still hatched? It was wiggling for on days 24 & 25 then stopped moving... or at least stopped around me. I had a little temp problem with my incubator and I fear the worst but at least I still have several others that look healthy due in a couple weeks.
