I have 6 beautiful Black Copper Marans eggs, 6 silkie eggs, and 3 of my own barnyard mix eggs (silver laced Wyandotte roo, unknown hens). 15 eggs total. Using a brand new Nurture Right 360.

I still have no idea what I'm doing despite doing as much research as I can, so my expectations are low. I'm hoping to get at least 5 out of 15 to hatch.

I do work long 12-13 hour overnight shifts so I may not be able to be as attentive as other people, but I'll try my best!

Eggs 1-6 are Silkie eggs, eggs 7-12 are BCM eggs, and 13-15 are my barnyard mixes. I decided to expand the theme from just herbs to herbs and spices/seasonings.

Even if no one participates and everyone watches from the wings, I'm excited and a bit nervous. Eggs are going in now!

Can I name #9 Nutmeg? Seems like a good name for a BCM!

I don’t mind who - but you need a Basil and a Clove!!
Can’t wait to see your hatches! Do you have photos of your barnyard mix parents? :)
Good luck ♥️
How about a silkie Basil and a BCM Clove 😍 my Roosters are both Silver Laced Wyandotte, and I have no idea who the mamas are. I'm guessing either my Rhode Island Reds or my Golden Laced Wyandottes, or a mix of both. Other contenders could be my Black Australorp or that yellow lady in the background. The person I got her from doesn't know what she is, my best guess is some sort of red sex link like a Gold Comet. (I'm open to suggestions though)

It's officially day 1! Incubator is at 100° and around 30% humidity. I'm going for a mostly dry hatch. I'm naming one of the silkies Lavender
