My First Hatch-A-Long-- Herb Theme (first hatch EVER)

Ok so I may have gotten a little impatient. Oops. It's very early on day 3, for those of you who are joining late and are curious.

I can see veins in at least 5 of the silkies. Maybe the 6th, but it's so porous that it's hard to tell. #4 and #6 seem very porous, so I'm a little worried about those ones. Anyway, you might have to squint and turn your brightness all the way up, but here we go.

#6, Thyme (can't really see much in this one)

The other eggs are too dark to see anything right now. I'll probably candle again tomorrow, and at least check the air cells.

All 6 silkies have development. One of my BYM, #13 Fennel, also looks promising. The other BYMs and the BCMs are a bit too dark, but I'm going to candle again tomorrow. I could have sworn that I saw something in some of the BCMs.

Happy Day 4!! I am happy to report that all 6 silkie eggs look good, all 3 barnyard mix eggs are developing (super proud of my flock), and I could swear that I saw at least a tiny bit of something in all of the marans...but I can't be sure and I may be crazy. You'll have to bear with me. Some of these babies already have visible cardiac activity.

What do we think? I also penciled the air cells (the ones that I could see) to monitor their growth. I may candle the marans again tomorrow, and will do all of them again on day 7.
